Teka Molino in San Antonio

Amazing salsa! The refried beans in the tortilla bowl is one of my favorite items. All the food is fantastic no matter what I get.

Bean rolls still as good as they were in the 1960's. Try the "nickle tacos" also

Delicious food and reasonably priced! Almost went back for a second plate.

Hard to understand what people see in it. We returned the food to the counter uneaten. Greasy, sodden food covered with lots of cheese. Staff didn't seem to care too much. Like throwing away money. Really disappointed after hearing such good things about the place. Reputation must have been from 25 years ago.

Everytime I have ever been there, food is so delicious and good. The person that takes your order have been so kind and helpful. Love going there.

Don't order the crispy tacos unless you like to eat a lot of grease. I was terribly disappointed in these. Also, they were out of chips at 7PM on a Friday night. Only after some insistence by my husband, did the girl taking our order go ask if they were going to make some more and we eventually got some chips. Salsa was meh. I need up taking the chicken, etc out of my shell and put it in a flour tortilla that my son had and that made all the difference in the world. Chicken was flavorful and the tortilla was really good, too. On the positive, the staff was friendly and attentive.

Great little restaurant. Food was good. Only issue is that the guy behind the counter was on his phone while we were placing our order so we had to repeat ourselves a couple of times. But other than that the place was good.

So, chicken mole enchiladas were pretty good. A half order of bean and cheese nachos is 4 chips surrounding shredded lettuce for $4.75, bean n cheese taco is pricey at almost $2. Doubt I would make a stop here again, it didnt stand out enough for me to even give it a second thought. Website says margaritas but doesn't have any either. 2 stars is generous.

While the food was great, the guy working the front register today was very disrespectful for no reason. To top it off he took one of our full drinks and threw it away when we stepped away from the table for like a minute to wash our hands... I was very disappointed with the way the front end treated their customers. Aside from that it was very fast, fresh, and delicious. The kitchen staff are very good.

This is a San Antonio gem! Everything's great here, but the guacamole cups are out of this world. Newly remodeled, this restaurant is great for a casual lunch or dinner.

Tex mex. Don't get it confused. Even their hospitality is Tex Mex.

One of our favorite places to eat in San Antonio. We drive out of our way to eat there, and usually stop by for a meal when we shop at the mall nearby. Food is great, service is good and the prices are very reasonable.

My favorite plate is the puffy taco plate with a bean cup on the side. Oh, you can’t forget the Big Red. It’s here!

SORRY TO SAY BUT IT TOOK 25 MINUTES FOR MY TOGO ORDER.I SAT ON THE BENCH AND WATCHED A COUPLE COME IN , ORDER, SIT DOWN AND EAT, AND LEAVE ...THAT'S UNACCEPTABLE FOR A LOYAL CUSTOMER WHO HAS BEEN EATING AT "TEKA MOLINA "FOR OVER 30 YEARS .I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL GET OVER IT AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE A GOOD CUSTOMER , BUT I HAVE TO LET YOU KNOW MY FOOD WAS VERY COLD WHEN I GOT HOME .

Teka Molino food truck came by our neighborhood in Del Webb and the food was awesome. In a time of social distancing to have great Mexican food so close was a good change of pace. I enjoyed the cheese enchiladas and my wife loved the verde chicken enchiladas. To my surprise we were able to order the famous Teka Molino guacamole cups and bean and cheese cups and they didn’t disappoint. A big hand to the truck crew who kept their distance and did well managing the flow of vehicles, I hope they return soon to our neighborhood.

This place is so good and you get to choose where you sit. Ordering was so easy because there was no line so we ordered and we got are food probably 10 minutes later and that is good service. I had cheese enchiladas just 2 rice and beans and I eat all of it because the food was so good. You should go eat at this place because it was honestly amazing. The restuarant was clean too.

I regularly come here with my family and friends. We love Teka Molino. The food is delicious and the staff works quickly and is friendly and helpful. They have free self-serve chips and salsa, and they have fresh pan dulce brought in from a local bakery. You can get free refills on sodas, tea, and coffee. Also, the bathrooms are always well taken care of. There's a seating area for quiet meals, and there's a separate area with a tv. They handle to go orders quickly, so this is a great place for grabbing a quick bite too. Teka Molino is my 5 year old son's favorite place to get a taco and a cookie after school or after a big game. We've always had a great experience here.

Excellent food. I order out almost every day and am dissatisfied most of the time. However, Teka Molina never disappoints. I especially enjoy the Puffy Tacos, and the guacamole cup. If Mexican food is what u want, this is the only really good one.

Have been a Teka Molino customer for many many years. I don't live in the area. No where near it. I found myself in the area this day and had to stop at Teka Molino for their Guacamole Cups and Bean and Cheese Cups. Good to see the food hasn't changed. Always great tasting food and excellent service.

The lady who took our order seemed annoyed. She definitely should not be taking orders, no smile, not friendly and rude kept asking us to repeat what we wanted. It really was not a difficult order at all. You will leave smelling like the restaurant because there is no proper ventilation. Food was nothing to write home about. Won't be returning.

This little place is a "go to" favorite when you want a nice clean, fresh food mexican food plate or al lacarte and want to sit down and take a load off. It is not fast food but it is not high end fancy. It is just good food done right and reasonable. The Molina's opened this in 1937 and I have been eating here since 1985. I like the cleanliness and the fast service as well as my Puffy Taco Fix !!They are one of those places you tend to go back time and again. A little diamond in the ruff..not fancy just good food.🌮🍽

The food was good. Service was ok. One of the only places I have ever eaten the beans and rice that comes with the meal, and I actually enjoyed it. I will definitely return and update my review then.

Anytime I fly into SAT this is my first stop after getting my rental. They have a rare taco... And they do a damn good job at making it. It's called the puffy taco. Yes it's called a puffy taco! Get your mind out the gutter. It's all handmade and homemade. The filling is incredible on its own. And their beans and rice is spot on. This displaced Texan living in NM always looks forward to paying this place a visit. You should to. Like right now.

If you've never been here, I suggest you should. Unbelievable! Likely the best mexican joint in all of San Antonio and beyond! Oh the bean cup, oh the guacamole cup, oh the puffy taco! They're an explosion of mmmmm in your mouth! A local to the area introduced me to this place a few years ago and I'm thankful of that. God bless Teka Molino!Update 12/5/18 - Migas! Since I first ate there too many years ago to recall it has remained after all this time the BEST TEX/MEX FOOD I HAVE HAD (6 states)
